Still the Craft Queen! (remember from Girls' Camp LOL)

Still the craft queen!

20 minutes left to write. Maybe I will spend like 3 on this email. haha. Sorry... but you know I gotta do what I wanna do... (And what God wants me to do...)

This has been an emotional week! To say the least! Yes it has! Filled with laughs and tears and every emotion in between. The laughs are much more fun, but the tears help me learn too.

This is what I thought of this week. If I was to bear my farewell testimony now, this is what I would say...

Before my mission I knew how to feel the Spirit. Now I know how to follow the Spirit.
Before my mission I knew about the cleansing power of the Atonement, now I know about the enabling power of the Atonement.

Also, today I read a conference talk Elder Ballard gave in 1984. He said we should invite people to be taught by the full time missionaries once a year. Today I read a talk given by Elder Ballard 30 years later, in 2015. He challenged us to invite people to be taught by the full time missionaries 4 times a year.

So... I would ask, are you living up to either one of those challenges? (hehe)

Anyway, one last quote that helped me this week... Sister Beech wrote this to me in a letter right before she finished her mission. I may have shared it with you before.

"I am the happiest I have ever been because I know now how to live the gospel." AMEN TO THAT!!!

craft queen & her comp
This week was fun of teaching! We taught a lot and also got to go on exchanges. I absolutely love exchanges. The sisters in our zone our great and they help build my faith every time I talk to them! Miracles always happen on exchanges and it just gets you pumped up to continue to work hard.

We had a different investigator come to church than who usually comes, and it was so exciting! They invited her to be a part of the ward choir and she is excited about that. Also, it was her birthday on the first day that she came to church! What a miracle! :) We are excited to get to know her better and keep teaching her.

We have this other new investigator, L, and she made us two meals this week along with letting us teach her! It was wonderful! She made my favorite, french dip with au jus! haha And the lesson was wonderful too. She has so many questions and loves the Bible and her daughter was excited for us to come back the whole week. Apparently, she kept asking, "Are the sisters coming today?" Awhhhh. :) Oh yeah, and they have a tiny kitty and she's sooooo cute. Also, she was invited to take the discussion by a member of our ward... #IDEALSITUATION !

fun times at the craft day!
We are working hard and seeing a lot of miracles. We have been focusing on helping these people be prepared to make covenants with their Heavenly Father through baptism. :))

Hmmm, okay 10 minutes has gone by and I got the nicest letter from my sister so I really think that takes  priority over this group email that I don't even know if people read or not.

Know that I am okay and doing well. Keep praying that our investigators will get baptized! You can pray for us to be safe... but I would wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy rather our investigators progress towards baptism. We already have a zillion people praying for our safety. ::) heheheh. Okay love ya lots.
