THIS WEEK

Wow. What a week. Seriously. But not in the ways past. Obviously, as I have heard from my fellow friends or family members, my blogs have led on to struggles lately. That is because struggles in mission life are REAL! But... this week was wonderful. One of the best. And also one of the hardest! I will start with the crowning event of.... Elder Neil L. Andersen visiting our mission very, very last minute!
So, Elder Perry was supposed to visit the Raleigh Stake for stake conference! But that didn't end up happening! So... we were blessed to have Elder Andersen come! And that meant that there was time for a mission wide event for him to preside at! On Friday afternoon, we got a call that he would be visiting our church and it would take place at the Knightdale building! What a treat! That is our church building! So some people had to change all their schedules and plans... and were just right down the road! It was soooooooo exciting!

Elder Andersen is one of the most humble men. He gave our mission so much encouragement and praise. He said that we should be proud to serve in the NCRM. He praised our mission president and his wife (He knew them from when they all lived in FL). It was such an incredible experience. We even got to shake his hand. What a treat. He was just incredible. His testimony of the Savior was incredible. He is a witness of the Savior. Do we realize what that means?

I also received a wonderful and calming blessing this week. I know that the power of the Priesthood is real and is on the earth again!

I got to see my best mission friend, Sister B, my trainer, and I WAS SO HAPPY!!!! I love her and I might not see her again in this mission life. Sad day. We shall see! Anyway, I love her and miss her so much.

Umm... yeah... some of my experiences were a little too personal to write a lot about..... so I don't really know what to write about... I guess this shall suffice!

I am anxiously awaiting to hear about my new trainee! And to meet her! And show her around Knightdale. It shall be an interesting and trying week! haha

Okay! ByE!
