A lil rhyme time :)

Okay! What to say! About today! From Sister Ray! I'm not sure! It was all a blur! All I know!! Is that this poem flows!

To more serious matters:
1) I received a new companion this week. Sister Z. Sister Zoo! I will not reveal the rest of her last name for privacy reasons. She is 21 from Colorado and she is straight from the MTC! She spent sometime at BYU-I before coming here. Her mom converted when she was in sixth grade and she is the oldest of 4 children. The first to serve a mission! Her and I are living the good life in Knightdale. Seriously. Miracles have happened. We have been striving to be exactly obedient in all that we do. We do not expect perfection from ourselves or get too down when we make mistakes. We truly have been blessed with so many people in our faith to find and to teach!

2) We got tracted into by JW's. No. (Not Jenna Webster... yes I know that's her initials...) IT WAS SO FUNNY AND WE WERE DYING LAUGHING. Their "sales" pitch was about stress management. We asked if they knew about the Book of Mormon. Then they left. It was so funny.

3) We taught the young women's yesterday for Mother's Day and it was such a powerful experience. Not only in the lesson, but also in the preparation of it. We had some really good ideas, but throughout the whole week, none of our ideas would really flow well together. Finally, in the 11th hour, the Spirit confirmed for us what to teach and what these young women needed to hear. We went forward with faith and the lesson turned out incredible! And not because of us, necessarily, but because these young girls are so, so sweet and sincere. Yeah, some of them are a little feisty, like I imagine I was, but they were wonderful and helpful and engaged. We tried not to take the typical approach to Mother's Day and that turned out for the best. No one's family is perfect, but we tried to be especially sensitive to some of the situations that reside in the ward. It was really powerful and Sister Zoo did an incredible job bearing testimony and relating to the girls.

4) WE TAUGHT SO MUCH THIS WEEK! Okay, okay, okay, let me humble myself. It was not exceeding, or even meeting, our standard of excellence of 20 lessons a week, but we did our best and found many opportunities to teach. WHAT A MIRACLE. I love teaching the restored gospel so much.

Honestly. I just got to the computer and I'm like... What do I say? I'm not quite sure what I even have to say... In weeks past, I've had this whole sermon basically to be able to relay to all my "fans" back home... but that is not the case this week! Sorry "y'all."

It was incredible to see my loving family via Skype. What a blessing that was. I love them so much and I am so grateful for the comfort the doctrine of eternal families.

I'm grateful for my faithful readings (Mom, Dad, Jenn, & Sis. Rabideau). If you are a faithful reader and I didn't write you on that list... send me an email... and then I can give you a shout out and hear from you. It's a WIN-WIN (-WIN! haha from the office).
