my attempt at a blog post. by sister kristen ray.

my attempt at a blog post. by sister kristen ray.

advice from a dear friend, Kaity K. She told me she likes when I "ramble" on or something like that. basically, the no structure writing. so i will see what I am inspired to write about this week.

first off, it was 67 degrees yesterday. if that doesn't make you want to be me, i don't know what will. north carolina is so pretty. we toured UNC campus yesterday. It was alright. i think Duke is prettier campus wise. but UNC has got it down for colors and apparel. i work out in my unc pants almost every day. yay!

yesterday something pretty funny happened. Sister beech and i were driving through unc campus and i said look, there's twins! And she started laughing and talking about how the twins just drove by in the car and were asian and everything. then... i was like... no they weren't in the car. they are right there waiting to cross the street. They were these two tall greek looking men who could have easily been on the soccer team or something there. they were so tall. two sets of twins in like two seconds. we laughed and laughed. it was a blast.

umm... we took these pictures in front of this unc library that was supposed to look all fancy like and you can only see us as these little tiny people by this big building. we are going to try to make them our FB profile pictures for laughs and giggles. maybe that is just something that is only funny to us.

yesterday i had a dream that we accidentally drove by this drive by shooting. haha..... whoops... subconscious. what are you doing there?

Ummm... okay. Yesterday we taught our investigator about the Word of Wisdom. We thought she was going to have a hard time accepting and living this because she had told us in the past she smoked. We were nervous. We taught her all about it and the blessings and then we asked her to live it. She said yes without hesitation. She said that she wasn't even addicted to smoking and smoked 1 cigarette a day, if even that. We were so happy. She is the greatest.

We presented at Zone conference and I got reallllll embarrassed. As usual. But people still complimented me out of truth or pity. I honestly don't care which one. haha.

A miracle of the week: We wanted to find two new investigators soooooo badly, and we prayed before we left the apartment that it would be so. It was one of the most heartfelt and sincere prayers we have said in awhile. We found two investigators. I know that prayer is real. God answers the prayers of us as missionaries and also the prayers of our investigators. It is truly incredible to witness. :)

That's all for this week! Jk. Not really "all" but all that I will share with you all. Muahhhahahhahahhahahahhaha. okay.. well have a great week.

Pray like it all depends on God and work like it all depends on you.

Sister B and I have set our goals very high this week. We know that we can achieve them! it is going to be a busy and successful week if I do say so myself! :)
