Email for the week--leaving Knightdale tomorrow~

Okay, okay, okay. A LOT has happened this week!

A lot has happened today even!!! I woke up an hour before the alarm and I couldn't go back to sleep and that was just weird but I'm so excited and nervous for transfers and all that jazz. And then we didn't go outside for workout today because it was raining. We stayed inside and did Sister Z's workout, so that's always fun. (Seriously though, it really is... despite whether it sounds like it or not) Then... I had a great study (which is odd because usually of all days, Mondays is the hardest to focus during studies... I wonder why.., haha) and then it took us like a half hour to get out of the apartment because we had soooooooo much to do! Laundry, etc, etc, okay... maybe it wasn't that much but it felt like a lot (pause: there is this girl who has a shirt that says, (pause, let me take a #selfie first" hahahahha I love that so much).

We mosied on down to the library and the elders were taking up all the computers! haha jk jk not true, but there was one available because all 5 Elders from our district were here and so we were like uhh.......... and then we just walked back out but everything takes so much longer when we have to do our umbrellas and all that jazz). Then we were like oh, we can just give the clothes to goodwill and send my package. And then I missed the first turn and I was like oh we will just do the other errand first... and then I missed the second turn too... hahaha... I'm a mess. So we eventually got all our stuff done and we were on our way.

I know that was a really boring story. I'm sorry.

Anyway, then we met this great man!!! W, voiced that he was evesdropping on our conversation with R, the store clerk (who was a pagan... interestingly enough...) and he said he was a Christian and all that jazz (he was wearing a UNC shirt...> GO UNC!!!) but we couldn't really leave R to go talk to him. So it just so happened that we ended up leaving the store at the same time later on and we stopped and chatted with him for a good while and he was so open and kept apologizing for "taking our time." And were like UMMMMM... This is what we live for! This is our calling!!! It was so great to talk to him. Sister Z and I were just talking about how we keep plugging along for the hope of one single conversion and how people are not wanting to change as readily as we would sometimes like. But he was so open and I'm excited for Sister Z to hopefully teach him with her new companion (CRAZYYY! More on that later...) (But sometimes I say more on that later and then I never get back around to it... stay tuned...)

We had a mission wide tracting day and it was sooooo fun! We only got to do it for part of the time because by the time we found out about it we already had plans for the evening so obviously we wouldn't cancel our appointments! That would lose super-trust! :) We met the nicest Jehovah's witness and 7th Day Adventist that I have ever met! It was crazy! :) haha Seriously though... tracting is an adventure that every missionary needs to have. We met this great lady, L, and she let us right in to pray with her. Her daughter recently totalled her car and she was having to deal with the aftermath and so she was really stressed out. It was wonderful to be able to call upon the powers of heaven to comfort her in her stressful situation.

Ummm... Church yesterday was AMAZING! It really was. Gotta love that church attendance...

I'm just going to send a lot of pictures this week because I really don't know what else to say. Maybe y'all can just think all I did was take pictures all week. haha That's kinda what it feels like when you are being transferred. haha

:)

Oh yeah! My Book of Mormon reading miracle. IT WAS AMAZING!!! So, I have started a more in depth read of the Book of Mormon for this time around. I decided to read the footnotes and re read the chapters if I didn't feel like I was understanding it as well as I should have been. But today, I was lacking a little motivation and faith I suppose, about the original goal and plan I had set. I was highly tempted to "dumb-down" my studies and just read at the surface level again. I decided to stick to the footnotes, at least for today... and MIRACLES happened! I felt like I was led to everything I read and it was just amazing!!! One verse that really stuck out to me in the Doctrine and Covenants was 138:52 "Bpartakers of all blessings which were held in reserve fothem that love him."
I just loved that part of the verse! We want to be partakers of ALL the blessings that he has in store of those who love him. Ah! So good! :)
Various Book of Mormon versions that an older couple we visited had

Transfer are tomorrow! Pray for me! :) hehe. I love this gospel so much and I'm so excited for my new adventure! :) Knightdale... you've done me well! I'm a better person because of my time here! ;)
