Okay, getting to the good stuff.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK
-Fun Zone Conference: 3 hours of training, lunch (southern bbq lol), and playing games outside for a few hours. We played vball, capture the flag, soccer ( I SCORED TWO GOALS), and ultimate frisbee. Oh my goodness! I had been looking forward to this for MONTHS! And it was all I wanted it to be. It was so good. I seriously loved doing all that sporty stuff! haha even though everyone who knows me knows that I am goofy footed!!! haha. But it was seriously so fun. I didn't get to show off as much as I could've in vball like I did at the MTC but that's okay since my goal for the transfer was being more meek (;D)! Haha but I did score two goals and that was probably the highlight of the day. hahah JK. But it was exciting. Everyone was like OOOOH YEAH! And I even had this Hispanic Elder on my team who used to be my district leader, and he was impressed cuz he played soccer in college in Honduras. Oh yeah. Funny story about him... during capture the flag, he kept pretending to be in the next game over and then saving people from jail and no one noticed and it was just so funny. Idk... maybe I just have lacked pure humor for awhile. LOL

-We were able to teach out lovely investigators this week too! (haha hopefully that would be true!) We taught about the Restoration and we have been teaching it for like 4 lessons! Haha Southerners love that talking stuff. But luckily, we don't have our own agendas. We are to teach PEOPLE and not lessons! So if she needs to have the foundational belief in the Restoration... then so be it. She is incredible. K is 14 and is the most focused and interested! I can't wait to see what her future holds for her. Her mom and grandma are interested too but are not as committed.
YOUTH ARE INSPIRING! They really are.
