So... I had to wait 24 hours from the time I picked up my call from the time I opened my call. Many people thought that was crazy and that they wouldn't be able to handle having it in their possession for that long. But both of my roomies, Jenna and Mikayla, waited just about a day to open their calls so I knew I could do it too. A girl next door to me in the dorms chose to wait a week for her family to come up for her birthday. And... the best story of all... I overheard this chick at the Sister Missionary Mall saying she waited one month (YES, ONE MONTH) because her dad was out of the country. That's so crazy to me but whatever works for her.
Okay, now back to me...(lolz)
So I got my friends from the dorms and drove them up to Julieann's apartment for me to open my call. I had spent a few hours there earlier in the day setting the place up like I wanted and putting up my huge map of everyone's guesses. It looked great!
Then we socialized a little, got the Skype up with two of my best friends, Ashley and Lacy, and waited until 7:30 to open my call. Everything was settled at 7:28 and I still wanted to wait until 7:30 because that is when I said I would open it. Everyone was complaining about making them wait but I had to stick to my guns and open it when I said I would. It was a very long two minutes to say the least.

I read out loud as I read, "North" then I paused, processed the words I read '...Carolina Raleigh, oh, that's where Mom guessed' and then read the rest of it allowed. It was so crazy. I didn't expect that at all but as soon as I read it, I was so excited! I continued on with the letter and read "August 14th" and I was so excited about that date. It will be just enough time for me to spend with my little baby nephew and then go on my mission. THEN came the scariest part of all, the part of the letter that I was most anxious for. When I read that I would be speaking English I could not have been more relieved.
Jenna jumped up and hugged me first thing (mostly to avoid Jacqueline getting the first hug) and it was perfect. Everyone kept congratulating me and hugging me. I went over to my mommy and was so excited that she guessed my mission right. Seriously, how cool does that make her? Way cool if you ask me.
Then I got to call a few friends who couldn't be there and I took a beautiful little photo shoot with my awesome photographer Jenna Webster. I will be sure to upload those so you can bask in their beauty.
I'M SO EXCITED!!!
